About the press
Gwasg Gregynog (the Gregynog Press) is a historic Welsh fine press founded in 1922 by Gwendoline and Margaret Davies at Gregynog Hall near Newtown, Powys, and reopened under its Welsh name by the University of Wales in 1978. It is regarded as the last survivor of the golden age of the British private press movement and continues to produce finely printed limited editions.
