The Bieler Press was founded by Gerald Lange in 1975, originally in Minnesota and later in California before relocating to Arizona. It is a printer and publisher of fine-press books specializing in studio-letterpress printing and book-related digital typography. Lange is known both for his hand-printed editions of contemporary literature and for his influential technical work on printing photopolymer-plate and digital type on the letterpress cylinder press.
