About the press
The Counter Press is a letterpress studio founded in 2011 by Elizabeth Ellis and David Marshall, originally in London's East End and later relocated to the West Country near Bath. It uses only traditional wood and metal type, hand-composed and printed, as a contemporary exploration of the craft through fine-press books and typographic editions.
