Thornwillow Press, founded in 1985 by Luke Ives Pontifell and based in Newburgh, New York, prints and publishes handmade books using letterpress printing, genuine engraving and custom bookbinding. It has produced more than 150 limited editions, with copies held in collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution and the White House.
