The Ascensius Press, founded by Scott Vile in 1989, is a Maine letterpress and fine-press operation offering book design, letterpress printing, and production coordination. It has worked with institutions including Johns Hopkins University, Bowdoin College, the Boston Athenaeum, and the Grolier Club, and in 2017 merged with Firefly Press of Boston.
